Sisterhood Of The Wrap Queens

by 01 Sep 2016

Let’s get into this thing called sisterhood.  Doesn’t have to be actual siblings, family members or even long time friends.  True sisterhood goes beyond all of the obvious components.  When you decide to take time out of your schedule to help out your sister solely because of her genuine spirit – sisterhood.  When that happenstance breeds a lasting friendship – sisterhood.  When one doesn’t bat an eye when asked to assist an aspiring blogger – sisterhood.  When conversations (via text, phone or in person) are filled with encouragement, hilarious jokes, sharing of dreams, visions and even disappointments – sisterhood.  I met Kelly on Instagram and had the pleasure of working with her in the launch of her company Wrap Queen. From then on, we kept in frequent contact and she has been one of the many driving forces behind me finally getting this blog up and running! Remember, using your knowledge and experience to help another woman rise or simply supporting your fellow sister doesn’t dull your sparkle; it actually forces it to shine brighter! Women supporting women always warms my heart. Now that’s the true spirit of sisterhood.

Thanks for this awesome post, Cindy. Sisterhood is not often talked about, yet alone promoted. It’s a beautiful feeling to have a group of women that you can be vulnerable with no judgement.
