Fashion week in NYC this year was exhausting for me! The running around, the parking, the public transportation, forgetting my camera on multiple days, etc. had your girl almost losing her mind but I’ll cover that in the next post, my NYFW SS17 recap.
I found myself sticking to a black theme for most of the days of my attendance. When it comes to my wardrobe, black is my absolute favorite color. Classic, always chic, and positively timeless, black is pretty much a no-brainer for any type of special event, especially if you have no clue what to wear. I received many inquiries about this “dress” that I wore and what’s interesting is that it isn’t a dress at all! See the pic below:
I decided to wear this sleeveless duster waterfall jacket cinched at the waist with a bejeweled belt. Before I put it on, I removed the belt loops on the side with minimal difficulty. I kept the accessories simple, finishing of the look with black, patent leather pumps (worth every penny!), a gold watch and a sparkly black clutch. Wish I had better pics but, like I mentioned earlier, I forgot my camera so I had to use the camera phone. 🙁 Still getting the hang of this blogging, so bear with me! I’m going to do better guys, Scout’s Honor lol! 🙂 Nevertheless, details of the look are below!
